Practical Questions
Instructional Design Questions
- What problems are you trying to solve? What do you want it increase or decrease by implementing an educational technology?
- What do you want the students to do with the technology? How will they interact with it?
- What are your objectives? What do you want the students to be able to do after the instruction?
Environmental Questions
- What kind of equipment is availalbe? A lab? A home computer? A mobile computer?
- How fast is the typical connection? High speed? Wireless? Dial up?
- What kind of players are available? In a hospital enviroment, students may not be able to download and install players. Make sure they have the players needed for your materials. Windows media and PDF are commonly supported.
- What technology tools are commonly used?
