Mobile Services provides full notebook support only for laptops purchased through the College of Medicine notebook program (Classes of 2010-2012).
Limitations on full support:
- Lost/Stolen notebooks are not replaced, and no loaners are provided in these cases. Users should use renters/homeowners insurance to cover loss
- Any damage is covered so long as we have a (broken) piece of hardware to send back to HP/Lenovo and the part is still under its warranty period
Support for any other laptop is limited to software assistance per the MOBILEservices Conditions of Service. Users may be directed to the Buckeye Bar, Microcenter, or to their manufacturer for issues that surpass MOBILEservices' scope of operations.
