Research Day

Research Day is an annual event featuring biomedical research conducted by various trainee levels within the OSU Medical Center.

WEBservices developed and continues to manage the custom application that streamlines the process of abstract submission and judges sign-up. A cumbersome manual process is now managed through an online admin area. This comprehensive solution has evolved over 6 years. It does everything from accepting submissions, matching judges to abstracts and sending automated emails to collecting all the data for a program and name tags distributed at the event. Over 300 abstracts were submitted this year.

In addition to the Web development, CKM PRINTservices plays a role in designing and producing posters, flyers and marketing material for the event.

This is a perfect example of a client utilizing multiple CKM tools and benefiting from the diverse team within the CKM.
